Polar Bear Lighting, Inc. is heading into one of its largest holiday seasons yet, with major installations already booked across California.

We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can run a crew, execute installs in the field, and deliver high-quality work on premium projects.

This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role with strong earning potential, where reliable, high-performing team members can quickly grow within the company.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage a crew of 5+ on job sites

  • Execute professional holiday lighting & dĂ©cor installations

  • Ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality results

  • Communicate with team and leadership to solve problems in real time

⚠ Physical Requirements

  • Lift and move up to 50 lbs

  • Work outdoors for extended hours (5+ days/week)

  • Climb ladders up to 40 feet

  • Comfortable working at heights (25–100 feet, including rooftops)

✅ Requirements

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

  • Valid California Driver’s License

  • Flexible schedule (nights & weekends as needed)

Position: Christmas Lighting & Holiday Decoration — In-Field Installers
Location: Warehouse based in Los Angeles (off the 110 and Slauson), but jobs are off-site all over Southern California
Status: Seasonal (temporary)
Estimated Duration: October 13, 2026 thru January 15, 2027
Starts: October 13, 2026
Rate: $21-26/hr

Job Description: Polar Bear Lighting, Inc., is excited for a very big holiday season! But we need more help. We have multiple big and small jobs coming our way, with our first install happening November 1. You don’t have to be an expert to work with us as we offer training. This is a family-like group of people who you will be working with. We take good care of everybody on the job and want to make sure everyone feels safe and supported along this journey.

We are looking for hardworking individuals who are punctual and able to follow instructions with a crew of 3+. The assignments are all physically demanding and applicants must be 18+ years of age. Bilingual in Spanish +++.

Requirements:

  • Be able to work outdoors for long periods of time, 5 days a week (with overtime offered frequently)
  • Lift and move product up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to safely climb ladders upward 40-feet
  • Comfortable on rooftops and heights ranging 25-100-feet
  • Able to operate power tools
  • Communicate with team and team leader to identify potential problems and solutions
  • Flexible schedule as you might be working nights and weekends

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with holiday lighting and decoration
  • Basic construction work
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Job Description: PolarBearlighting.com is a holiday dĂ©cor startup that is looking for someone with ecommerce experience to help ownership. You don’t have to know everything but definitely need to have beginning ecommerce experience.

Experience with social media marketing a big plus.

Not only is this an opportunity to make great money, but also room for great advancement.

Working side-by-side with ownership, you will be mentored by the best in the business!

Experience with social media marketing a big plus. The gift of gab also a plus. Must be extremely organized. The goal: build client relationships for life.
